Centennial

The North Dakota Grain Dealers Association celebrated its centennial on April 23, 2011.

The North Dakota Grain Dealers Association was founded on May 23, 1911 at a meeting of farmers and grain elevator operators in Devils Lake, ND. Read the original 1911 meeting minutes here.

We have been working to promote the interests of North Dakota's grain elevators at legislative and regulatory levels; to represent and promote grain elevator safety, training, regulation and education; and, through our educational foundation, help students pursue careers in agriculture. The Legislative Assembly of North Dakota congratulated the Association on celebrating 100 years of existence, as we continue to be an integral part of North Dakota's economy. Read the congratulatory resolution here.
